I just moved. How do I get keys to my Community Mailbox?

Monday, December 5th, 2011

– You have moved into a newly developed area and need keys to your Community Mail Box

If the residence you have moved to is brand new, contact Canada Post and they will assign you a Community Mail Box.  They will then leave a Delivery Notice Card on your front door indicating the Post Office whree you can pick up your keys.

– You moved into an exsisting development less than 60 days ago.

If you have moved into a previously exsisting residence and would like new keys, contact Canada Post and they will change the lock and issue new keys.  They will then leave a Delivery Notice Card on your font door indicating the Post Office where you can pick up your keys.

When you pick up your keys- bring the Delivery Notice Card and gevernment-issued photo identification.

Moving?! Don’t rely on friends to hold furniture to the roof of your car!!!

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

As clever as we  can be; some days I suppose we all fall short.  This is a picture I took while on my way home the other day.  It was taken with my phone and for obvious reasons I was keeping a relatively safe distance behind them.  So after cropping it down, zooming in, and smudging out the license plate I thought I would share it with you!   To be clear, the photo is of people moving their coffee table.  It is on the roof of the car and there are 4 men inside the car each holding onto one of the table legs with an arm (including the driver).  It is not secured to the vehicle at all except by the strength of their own grips.  They did  thoughtfully protect  the roof of the car with a few hoodies underneath the table however.  I don’t think I so say anything more about it!

Moving and don't have or know anyone who has a truck?

Does everyone have a leg? Let's go!

So, instead… I will remind all of you that if you buy or sell your home through the CorleyTeam, we will provide you with the use of our Brokerage Moving Truck for FREE!  Automatic transmission, moving blankets and bungees, easy access ramp…to make your move a breeze!
