Big hill East Reservior! Construction of a new reservoir, to meet growth requirements in the water distribution system. The budget amount represents the capital program for the water distribution network that includes several projects since 2009. 13.7 million is estimated for the total project with 172 million budgeted over the the entire term of the project (since 2009). Construction is currently underway and the project is on track for completion on the lage fall of 2011, with the reservoir scheduled to be in operation shortly thereafter.

Tuesday, July 12th, 2011This new emergency response station will serve Symons Valley and surrounding northwest and northeast Calgary communities and will house a brand new state of the art arsen research station. We are very priviledged to have such a facility within our North Central Communities and its good to see that despite our significant growth our needs are not being ignored in the greater scheme of the expansive city! Ground breaking took place June 28 with a completion date of Fall 2012!
