After 44 years at the present location downtown, the Telus World of Science (Formerly the Calgary Science Centre and the Planetarium before that) is set to open on Saturday, October 29th.
Grand opening celebrations will be all day but will include a spectacle hosted in the 10,000 square foot Atrium and visitors on opening day will also have an opportunity to contribute to a Time Capsule.
